For the right candidate, the role offers extreme variety and the opportunity to gain skills and experience across a range of activities. In particular, the role will head up our flagship event Norselab Impact Day, run our website, social media and PR initiatives, and manage our coworking space.
Our environment is deeply engrained with entrepreneurial spirit, and a successful candidate will need to switch between big-picture strategic thinking and high-precision execution, managing multiple workstreams at the same time. And more than anything, we’re looking for someone with a «can-do» attitude!
Main responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and execute the company’s external communication efforts across PR, events, social media and website, in close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Project management for Norselab’s flagship investor event “Norselab Impact Day” and regular investor meetups for our funds
- Management of our shared workspace and event space, Thallus. This includes marketing, follow-up of tenants, facilitation of community activities.
- Monitor and report activity, progress, and results across your areas of responsibility.
We pay just as much attention to your personality and attitude as your formal qualifications. We hope that you are…
- Enthusiastic, driven and unpretentious. Grit is your middle name.
- Resourceful and flexible. Your focus is on finding the best solution for every situation, and always lean in to lend a hand where needed.
- Both a strategic thinker and a highly effective, structured “doer”.
- Committed to being thoughtful and truthful when communicating on sustainability topics.
- Committed to precision - “The devil is in the details”.
- You identify with our People Philosophy.
Any of these things sound like you? Then we want to talk to you!
More on the experience and skills we covet:
- Proven experience from a similar position, preferably within a high-paced environment.
- Track record of managing events or other communications projects with strong results.
- Solid communication- and collaboration skills, and a clever pen.
- Proficient with commonly used software for designing reports, presentations, graphic materials, videos, as well as website editing and HubSpot CRM.
- Fluency in English and Norwegian.
