Financial Hybrid is our niche fund for regulated bank and insurance hybrid- and subordinated capital with a Nordic angle.
The fund is exposed to large and medium sized Nordic banks with the addition of some niche banks and insurance companies.
The Norselab Financial Hybrid fund was our third launch and our second thematic fund based on our specialized competence among our senior portfolio managers. We find Nordic financial institutions to be solid, profitable and innovative, and so we like this niche corner of the Nordic high yield market.
The fund invests mainly in additional tier 1 hybrid capital notes (AT1s) issued by Nordic banks ranging from national champions via savings banks to niche banks, but also in tier 2 subordinated debt and Insurance restricted tier 1 capital notes (RT1).
The fund reports under article 8 of SFDR. The inception of the fund was October 2025. The fund is an Irish AIF for professional investors.
